Wallet conversion changes funds between the supported NGN and USD wallet balances in your account. The quoted rate and fee matter together: the amount you receive is the useful figure to compare, not a rate copied from a different source.

Read the conversion quote
Choose the direction, enter the amount and review the rate, fee and receiving amount shown by the platform. A rate mentioned in a chat or an old blog post may not be the rate available when you transact. Check that the wallet direction is correct before confirming.

- Use funds that are available, not already locked.
- Review the rate and any conversion fee.
- Confirm only when the receiving amount is clear.
Plan the next step as well
If you intend to withdraw or fund an escrow after converting, check that next step’s currency, limits and fees too. A wallet conversion and a withdrawal are separate operations. Do not assume that an example receiving amount includes every possible later fee.

Does a conversion include my later withdrawal fee?
Conversion and withdrawal are separate actions. Review the confirmation for each action and the amount to be received.
Why is my quote different from an old example?
Rates and fees can change. The account quote at the time of confirmation is the relevant one for the transaction.
Can locked escrow money be converted?
Use the available balance shown by your wallet. Funds committed to an escrow are not the same as freely available wallet funds.
