Withdraw from your Escrow Village wallet

A withdrawal moves eligible available funds out of your Escrow Village wallet through a method shown in your account. Check the currency, destination and net amount before submitting. Locked escrow funds are different from money available for withdrawal.

Start with your available balance

Review the wallet balance and any pending transactions. A balance can include funds that are reserved for an escrow or another request. If you expect a release or refund, check that it has actually completed before relying on the money for a withdrawal.

  • Choose the correct wallet currency.
  • Select an available withdrawal method.
  • Check the destination and account-holder details.
  • Review fees, limits and the amount to be received.

Check bank details for a naira withdrawal

Where the bank flow is available, use the supported bank and account lookup and check the returned account-holder details. Resolve a name or destination mismatch before submitting. Never use a replacement account number sent in an unsolicited message as a substitute for the destination you reviewed.

Check the destination for a USD withdrawal

Use a method enabled for the USD wallet and follow the account instructions for the asset, network and destination. Check the address carefully rather than relying only on the first and last characters. A supported asset on an unsupported network may still be an invalid destination for the selected method.

Follow the actual request status

Submitting a withdrawal request does not necessarily mean the recipient has already received it. Keep the request confirmation and check the processing result in your account. If you need support, provide the relevant details in the support conversation; you do not need to publish them in a community chat.

Limits and fees can depend on the account and currency. Review the current figures before confirming rather than relying on an old screenshot or an example from another person’s account.

Common questions

Why is part of my wallet balance unavailable?

Funds may be committed to an escrow or another pending action. Check available and locked balances and the related transaction status.

Can I change the destination after submitting?

Do not assume that a submitted transfer can be changed. Check the available request controls and contact support promptly if you notice an error.

Where do I see the current withdrawal fee?

Use the quote and confirmation shown in your account before submitting the request.

Agree the details before you pay

Review the current fees, eligibility and available methods in your account. Keep the agreed terms and use the correct transaction flow.
