Escrow Village · Service guide
A trading community for skills, goods and services
Escrow Village brings Villagers together in multiple communities and a marketplace for skills, online accounts, physical goods and services. Public Villages help people discover relevant conversations; private Villages have their own access rules. Joining a community is separate from agreeing and funding an escrow transaction.
Find the right kind of opportunity
Describe what you need with enough detail for a useful response. A service request should include the deliverables and deadline; a physical item should include the model, condition and location requirements. Clear requests save time for both sides and make misleading offers easier to question.
- Browse relevant listings and conversations.
- Ask specific questions about the offer.
- Keep the agreed price and scope in writing.
- Use the proper escrow flow for a protected payment.
Use public and private conversations appropriately
Public discussion is useful for general questions and discovering offers. Private conversations can help the parties discuss transaction details. Do not publish personal identity documents, login codes, bank credentials or other sensitive account information in a public Village.
Understand verification and reputation
An identity check, support badge or community presence is not a guarantee of skill, ownership or future behaviour. Check the relevant experience and evidence for the transaction itself. Compare what a provider says in a conversation with the scope and terms you actually agree to fund.
Turn a conversation into a clear agreement
Before exchanging payment, confirm the transaction amount, currency, delivery conditions and release process. A chat about escrow does not prove that an escrow exists or is funded. Use the account transaction status to check that the intended payment workflow is in place.
People in different Nigerian states or eligible international locations may have different delivery, wallet and account options. Check those practical constraints before agreeing. This guide does not claim a particular community size or that every listed offer has been independently endorsed.
Common questions
Does being in a Village mean a seller is guaranteed safe?
No. Community membership is not a guarantee. Check the transaction evidence, use clear terms and verify payment status inside the platform.
Can I look for skills and digital services?
Village conversations and market listings can help you discover providers. Agree deliverables and use the relevant service and escrow flows when you decide to proceed.
Where should I report suspicious behaviour?
Use the platform’s support and reporting options. Avoid sharing private account information in a public accusation or with an unsolicited support contact.
Agree the details before you pay
Review the current fees, eligibility and available methods in your account. Keep the agreed terms and use the correct transaction flow.
